Laura Solano
Laura is an Occupational Therapist focused on providing client-centered care for clients with diverse needs. Laura has worked with clients in a variety of settings including mental health, hospitals and coordinating adapted physical activity programs. They enjoy working in one-on-one and larger group settings.
Laura values strengths-based approaches and using a neurodiverse-affirming lens. Within practice, Laura uses activities to support functional skill development to facilitate meaningful participation in the activities clients need or want to do at home, and in the community.
Laura is registered with Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT) and they are also certified by the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapy (CAOT).
